US President Donald Trump said that the Voice of America radio station should stop broadcasting. He wrote about this on his Truth Social network on June 25.
"Why does a Republican want the Democrats' mouthpiece, the Voice of America (VOA), to continue to exist? <...> None of the Republicans should vote for its [radio station's] preservation," the message begins.
