Ukraine has joined the EU in imposing sanctions on Iran, Zelensky’s office said. In addition, Kiev has also agreed on the 13th and 14th packages of EU sanctions against Russia.
“We are joining the European package of sanctions against the Iranian regime. There are many figures, many companies, and it is not only about military production and external terrorism against our neighbors in the region, but also about internal repression in Iran. This is one of the most brutal regimes in the world. It is not surprising that Putin has found common ground with it,” the statement said.
