Lavrov congratulates Rubio on US Independence Day

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov congratulated US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the occasion of US Independence Day, expressing hope that relations between Moscow and Washington will become stable and predictable in the future.

"I hope that thanks to joint efforts, relations between our countries will develop in a constructive direction, will gain positive stability and predictability, based on mutual respect and consideration of each other's national interests, predetermined by history, geography and "realities on the ground," Lavrov said in his congratulatory message.
