Criminal group with Azerbaijani participation arrested in Russia

In Tver, FSB officers have disrupted the activities of another organized crime group, which included Azerbaijanis.

A criminal case has been opened against the leader of the group and eight of its members. A preventive measure - detention - has been chosen against them.

According to the investigation, in 2022-2025, the organized criminal group was engaged in the illegal circulation of unregistered tobacco products and alcoholic beverages.
