"Trump may allow Ukraine to strike deep into Russia" - #WP

US President Donald Trump may authorize Ukraine to use its 18 long-range ATACMS missiles to strike deep into Russia, The Washington Post (WP) reports.

According to the newspaper’s source, the US president may also order the delivery of additional ATACMS missiles to Kiev. The warheads are reported to have a range of 300 km.

According to the newspaper, the Pentagon has been insisting for several months that the Ukrainian armed forces should be given the green light to “deliver more ATACMS missiles into Russian territory.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he could deliver such a strike to Russia if he had the appropriate weapons.

Earlier, Trump said that Washington had decided to continue supplying Kiev with weapons and military equipment if Europe paid for such supplies. NATO will coordinate this process.
