A fire broke out in a shopping mall in Iraq, Iranian media reported.

A major fire broke out in a shopping mall in the eastern Iraqi city of Kut. Initial reports indicate that at least 60 people have died.

Iraq has declared three days of national mourning over the tragedy. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
