Azerbaijan will not participate in the CIS Economic Council session in Moscow
![]() 659 Friday, 18 July, 2025, 13:09 Azerbaijan has refused to participate in the CIS Economic Council session to be held in Moscow, an informed source told Trend. Usually, Azerbaijan is represented at CIS sessions by First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyubov. "Yagub Eyubov will not be present at this event. The reason for the decision are the recent events in Yekaterinburg, the downing of the AZAL plane by the Russians at the end of last year, and the unwillingness of the Russian side to take adequate steps to resolve these issues," the agency's source noted. |
