"The United States supports efforts to promote peace and stability in the South Caucasus" - State Department

The United States supports efforts to ensure peace and stability in the South Caucasus, US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said.
The State Department spokeswoman was responding to a question from an Azerbaijani journalist about whether the United States supports the project recently announced by US Ambassador to Turkey Thomas Barrack, which involves the control of a transport route by an American company for 100 years.
“This is a question that we will have to clarify with the White House, with the president’s team, to see how they respond. But what I can say for sure right now is that the United States, of course, supports all efforts to promote peace and stability in the South Caucasus. We are following these developments,” said Tammy Bruce.
