Trump shared Aliyev's speech in occupied Stepanakert on his page

US President Donald Trump shared on his official page on the Truth Social social network a speech by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the 3rd Shushi Global Media Conference in occupied Stepanakert.

The Azerbaijani president said: “I did not predict Trump’s victory. I simply said that it would be preferable for the Azerbaijani people, given that he, like us, shares fundamental values, including family values. He is the only US president who has not started wars. And in this short period of time that he has been in power, it is clear that he is ending wars. We are also very grateful to him, especially for his desire to help Azerbaijan and Armenia reach a final agreement. Despite the fact that he is busy with more global issues of international security, he keeps the situation in the South Caucasus in his sights. We in Azerbaijan are, of course, happy that he won, for many reasons.”
