Trump: "US very close to trade deal with China"

US President Donald Trump has said that the United States could soon reach a trade deal with China.

"As you know, we just made a deal with Japan, and we're very close to making a deal with China. In fact, we've already made some kind of deal with China, but we'll see how things go," Trump told reporters during a meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
