Putin discusses Syria and Iran in phone call with Netanyahu
![]() 2915 Monday, 28 July, 2025, 23:45 Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed Syria and Iran in a phone call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today, the Kremlin says. It says Putin stressed the importance of upholding Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and restated Russia’s readiness to help negotiate a solution to the Iranian nuclear issue. The Prime Minister’s Office confirms the call to The Times of Israel, saying that Iran and Syria were both discussed but declining to provide any further details. |
