This was reported by the Hindustan Times. The incident occurred in the West Champaran settlement, when the little boy named Govinda was playing in their house. The child's grandmother said that the cobra entered the house, the child mistook it for a toy and caught it, after which he bit the cobra, cutting the reptile in two. By then, the snake had managed to bite the boy. The child is under the supervision of doctors, and no signs of poisoning were found in him. |
