3-year-old boy survives after falling from 18th floor in China

The boy first landed on a tree, which cushioned his impact, the South China Morning Post reported. According to the newspaper, the incident occurred in the city of Hangzhou. The parents had left the little boy with his grandparents. Thinking the boy was asleep, they briefly left the house, locking the apartment door. The child woke up, went into the bathroom and fell out the window. The boy was found lying on the ground and an ambulance was called. The boy was diagnosed with a fractured left arm and other injuries, but no head injuries. The boy is recovering. |
