5.6-magnitude earthquake shakes Iran

A quake with a magnitude of 5.6 struck south-eastern Iran, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported on Monday.
Available data shows that the incident occurred at 8:36 am local time, 125 km to the southeast of Bam, home to about 100,000 people. The epicenter was registered at a depth of 10 kilometers, and no details about potential damage are available at this time.
