Special Envoy of the President of the United States Steve Witkoff will pay a visit to Russia "this week." This was announced on August 5 by the official representative of the US State Department, Tammy Bruce.

"Special Envoy Witkoff will travel to Russia this week. We can confirm this," she said during a briefing.
