"The opening date of the Turkish-Armenian border is unknown" - Turkish diplomatic source

The exact dates for the opening of the Turkey-Armenia border are not known, the process of normalizing relations between Ankara and Yerevan is taking place in parallel with the peace process between Baku and Yerevan, a Turkish diplomatic source told RIA Novosti.
On August 8, the leaders of the United States, Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a joint declaration at the White House on the peaceful settlement of the conflict between Yerevan and Baku.
“There are no specific dates regarding this topic (the opening of the Turkish-Armenian border). As Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan stated, the process of normalizing relations between Turkey and Armenia will take place in parallel with the peace process between Baku and Yerevan. We see positive steps in this direction, the entire region will benefit from the signing of a peace agreement between the two countries,” the agency’s source said.
