#Guardian: "Trump made a mistake about the location of the talks with Putin"

US President Donald Trump made an incorrect statement about the location of his meeting with Vladimir Putin during a press conference with reporters at the White House, the British newspaper The Guardian writes.
“Trump made an awkward mistake regarding his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday,” the article says.
The US president mistakenly indicated Russia as the location of the meeting. His meeting with Putin will take place in Alaska, the publication emphasizes.
Earlier, the Kremlin and the White House announced preparations for a meeting of the Russian and US presidents in Alaska on August 15. According to Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian president, the parties will focus on discussing options for a long-term settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
