The death toll from an explosion at a steel plant in the US state of Pennsylvania has risen to two, with at least 10 people injured, NBC reported, citing officials.

"Two people have died in an explosion at a steel plant in the Pittsburgh area. Two people were killed, one of whom was missing, and at least 10 people were injured," the channel reported.
