![]() 315 Wednesday, 13 August, 2025, 10:06 US President Donald Trump may issue an ultimatum to Ukraine and the EU in order to persuade them to peace following a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Alaska, the British magazine The Economist writes. "This could put Ukraine and its European allies in a desperate situation: either sign an agreement (With Russia. - Ed.) and agree to the restructuring of European security, or reject it and risk that Trump will leave and reduce intelligence and military support for Ukraine," the article says. |
