"Putin is a strong and very tough man, but the meeting was very warm" - Trump

US President Donald Trump called the Russian leader a strong and tough man after his summit with him.
"He's a strong man. He's very tough. But it was a very warm meeting," Trump said in an interview with Fox News after his summit with Putin in Alaska.

"It was a very productive meeting," Trump said.

"Putin would like to end this conflict (in Ukraine), just like I do," he added.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Recall, Putin and Trump held talks in Alaska. The leaders met at the Elmendorf-Richardson military base. The narrow-format talks took place in the "3+3" format and lasted two hours and 45 minutes.
