US President Donald Trump said that during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin they managed to agree on the issue of territorial exchanges and providing security guarantees for Ukraine. He said this in an interview with Fox News following the summit with Putin in Alaska.
"These are the points that we discussed and the points on which we basically came to an agreement. In fact, I think we came to an agreement on many issues," Trump noted.
At the same time, according to the American leader, there are currently no agreements on some issues.
Earlier, the US President noted that the United States, together with European countries, could provide Ukraine with security guarantees, but the option of its joining NATO was excluded.
