The Armenian representation in the Urals has been closed, the ura.news website reports.
It is reported that the suspension of work was preceded by the dismissal of the country's honorary consul in Yekaterinburg, Narek Spartakyan, who supported the Armenian Apostolic Church.
"Dear citizens, in connection with the suspension of the status of the honorary consul of the Republic of Armenia in Yekaterinburg, Narek Spartakyan, we are forced to inform you that the office of the honorary consul of the Republic of Armenia in Yekaterinburg has ceased its activities. Over the past seven years, more than 57,000 citizens have applied to us," the statement says.
