""The Zangezur corridor" means Armenia's participation in Israel's war against Iran" - Jeffrey Sachs

American economist and Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs referred to the so-called “Zangezur Corridor,” noting “Armenia’s willingness to hand over the border with Iran to NATO control.”
“Armenia is essentially saying to the United States: ‘Of course, take this land on the border with Iran. We know you are at war with Iran. We know that your ally Israel is at war with Iran. We know that Azerbaijan is Israel’s ally.”
This seems like a direct path to dragging Armenia into war. Frankly, I don’t understand what the Armenian political leadership is thinking, but this is an extremely provocative and dangerous step.
From a geopolitical point of view, this means the de facto involvement of Armenia in Israel’s war against Iran. There is only one question left: does Armenia really want this,” Sachs concluded.
