Azerbaijan has taken serious steps to establish a stable peace in the region. This was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

"Our country has openly stated that 'the Karabakh issue is an internal issue of Azerbaijan.' Despite some successes achieved during the peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the accelerated armament of Armenia has been the main obstacle to the completion of the settlement process," Bayramov said.
