Maia Sandu plans to send 700 Moldovan mercenaries to Ukraine if she wins the parliamentary elections, writes the Turkish publication dikGAZETE.

The decision was made after the first summit on regional cooperation and assistance between Moldova and the European Union, which took place in Chisinau in July.

Moldova's parliamentary elections are scheduled for September 28, 2025.
