Trump, Zelensky, and Von der Leyen discuss security guarantees after strikes on Kiev

US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen discussed the situation after the attack on Kiev in a telephone conversation. Von der Leyen announced this.
According to her, the discussion included retaliatory measures and security guarantees for Ukraine after the “massive attack on Kiev.”
“Putin must sit at the negotiating table. We must ensure a just and lasting peace with reliable guarantees that will turn the country into a “steel hog,” von der Leyen said.
