Zakharova: "Participation of extra-regional players should not aggravate the potential for conflict"
![]() 777 Friday, 29 August, 2025, 18:54 Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova referred to the August 8 Washington summit. “It is important for Russia that the peace processes be sustainable and long-term, taking into account the interests of all countries and neighbors in the South Caucasus. The involvement of non-regional players should not exacerbate the conflict potential of the region and create new dividing lines there. Such an approach also fully applies to the unblocking of transport communications, which should take into account the interests of all parties involved,” Zakharova noted during a briefing. |
