Ukrainian presidential aide Yermak summarized the results of the day of negotiations in the United States.
According to him, the Ukrainian delegation is satisfied with the progress of the negotiations. The meeting with Witkoff began at 6:30 and was “very productive.”
Witkoff agreed to visit Ukraine, accepting Yermak and the delegation’s invitation “to see with our own eyes why we are confident that we will not lose this war,” Yermak said.
“There is no pressure from the United States on territorial concessions for the sake of peace,” Yermak noted.
The meeting also discussed Ukraine’s security guarantees, similar to NATO’s Article 5.
