According to local reports, an alleged stabilisation issue caused Dolce Vento to sink to a depth of seven metres shortly after entering the water.
The Coast Guard was quickly dispatched to the scene alongside medical personnel. The yacht's owner, captain and two crew members were on board at the time, though they jumped into the water and were ultimately unharmed. An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the sinking.
