12 countries launch coalition for Palestinian financial aid

A total of 12 countries say they have established a group to urgently respond to the financial crisis facing the Palestinian Authority.
Foreign ministers from the 12 nations issued a joint statement on Thursday to announce the launch of the Emergency Coalition for the Financial Sustainability of the Palestinian Authority.
The new coalition was set up at the urging of France, Saudi Arabia, Norway and Spain. Japan is one of the dozen members.
