From October 5 to 14, the 2025 European Team Chess Championship takes place in Batumi

The Armenian men's national team is represented by GM Shant Sargsyan, GM Robert Hovhannisyan, GM Haik Martirosyan, GM Gabriel Sargissian and GM Aram Hakobyan. The head coach of the team is GM Arman Pashikian.
The Armenian women's national team is represented by WIM Mariam Mkrtchyan, IM Lilit Mkrtchian, WGM Maria Gevorgyan, GM Elina Danielian and WIM Susanna Gaboyan. The head coach of the team is GM Zaven Andriasian.
In the starting list, our men's team ranks 6th among 40 teams, and the women's team ranks 8th among 36 teams.
