Russia strikes Sumy region with drones overnight: one killed, children among wounded

On the night of November 3, Russian forces attacked the Sumy region with kamikaze drones. The main strike hit the city of Trostianets, where one person was killed, according to the State Emergency Service (SES) and the Sumy Regional Military Administration․
According to local authorities, the enemy targeted residential buildings while people were asleep. As a result of the explosion, a two-story building was destroyed and caught fire. During the debris removal, rescuers retrieved the body of a deceased man, a 52-year-old local resident. His house was almost completely destroyed.
Relatives of the deceased were injured — two women aged 28 and 52, another 52-year-old woman, and two children aged two and five. All of them received medical assistance.
