Rutte called on NATO to be ready for a long-term confrontation with Russia

NATO’s secretary general has warned that the threat posed by Russia will not end with Ukraine and that Moscow is preparing for “long-term confrontation.”
Speaking at the NATO-Industry Forum in Bucharest on Thursday, Mark Rutte told that for the foreseeable future, Russia will remain a destabilizing force in Europe and the world.”
“They are preparing for long term confrontation. We cannot be naive. We must be prepared” – Rutte said.
