Officer critically injured in Vance motorcade crash
![]() 868 Monday, 17 November, 2025, 11:47 A police officer is critically injured from a crash while providing security for Vice President JD Vance's motorcade in Maryville, Tennessee, officials said. Maryville police officer Justin Brown and a state trooper were involved in the Friday night incident "during an executive protection mission involving multiple law enforcement agencies," Maryville officials said. The Maryville Police Department said citizens stayed at the scene and "immediately administered urgent first aid." Brown was taken to a hospital in critical condition and he underwent surgery on Saturday morning, Maryville police said. |
