Young Latin singer DELAROSA shot dead

A promising young star in the Latin music scene had her life cut short in an “ambush-style” shooting while sitting in a parked car in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Maria De La Rosa, a 22-year-old known professionally as DELAROSA, was tragically killed in the Northridge neighborhood after two cold-blooded gunmen approached and opened fire on her vehicle.

Witnesses said two male suspects bolted up to the car and fired a flurry of rounds into the vehicle. Two other men were in the car with the singer, they were left in critical condition and fighting for their lives.

Detectives are working to piece together a motive for the execution-style murder, and the suspects remain unknown to the public.
