A fire broke out in the Wang Fuk Court residential complex on Wednesday. Bamboo construction scaffolding erected around the buildings as part of a renovation plan caught fire. The flames spread quickly and engulfed all eight buildings of the complex. This is the most powerful fire in Hong Kong in 17 years. |
