Azerbaijan and US discussed acceleration of the "TRIPP" project

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Assistant Secretary of the US Department of Transportation Daniel Edwards.

Detailed information was provided at the meeting on the strategic importance of Azerbaijan as a regional transport and logistics center, multimodal corridors, and infrastructure projects.

At the same time, views were exchanged on the opening of the "Zangezur corridor", the acceleration of the "TRIPP" project, and cooperation with the US in the restoration and modernization of the Nakhchivan railway.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation in other areas of transport, including aviation and maritime transport, as well as within international organizations, were discussed.
