Trump: US may strike Iran again if necessary
![]() 1033 Friday, 12 December, 2025, 11:53 US President Donald Trump suggested that the United States could strike Iran again if the country's leadership refuses to reach a deal with Washington and continues its missile program. During a meeting with reporters at the White House, Trump reiterated the theory that a Middle East settlement would not have been achieved if the US military had not struck Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. According to Trump, Iran "may try" to continue its nuclear program. "It will take them a long time to recover, but if they want to recover without a deal with us, we will destroy it too. We can destroy their missiles very quickly," the US president asserted. |
