US President Donald Trump signed into law Thursday the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) -- a $901 billion measure that outlines the Pentagon’s policies and spending for 2026.
The Senate backed the bill by 77 to 20, with strong support from both parties.
The fiscal 2026 NDAA provides $800m for Ukraine – $400m in each of the next two years – as part of the Ukraine security assistance initiative, which pays US companies for weapons for Ukraine’s military.
