Tanker explosion on a highway in Italy

A liquid gas tanker exploded on a highway in Italy yesterday afternoon after colliding with a truck, authorities said.

The accident occurred on the A1 motorway, Milan-Naples. Videos circulating on social media show the moment of the explosion.

According to authorities, fire and traffic police arrived at the scene shortly before the explosion, and immediately evacuated the restaurant. For this reason, no injuries were reported.
