U.S. ambassador Kristina Kvien’s holiday message

As we gather to celebrate this holiday season, we have much to give thanks for. U.S.-Armenia relations have advanced further in 2025 than in any year since Armenian independence.
We have elevated our relationship to a Strategic Partnership, and at an historic meeting with President Trump at the White House we have set a framework for cooperation that will endure for decades.
Together, we are advancing peace in the region and launching new U.S.–Armenia initiatives in technology, energy, connectivity and security which will enhance prosperity and stability.
From all of us at the U.S. Embassy Yerevan, thank you for your friendship and partnership. May you and your families be blessed this holiday season, and may the coming year bring peace a joy.
Merry Christmas and A Very Happy New Year!
