U.S. says it's not involved in Caracas gunfire tonight

The United States is tracking the reports of gunfire on Monday near the presidential palace in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas.
Two White House officials told NBC News that the U.S. is not involved.
“The administration is closely tracking the reports of gunfire out of Venezuela. The U.S. is not involved," the officials said.
