India urges its citizens to leave Iran amid unrest
![]() 1333 Wednesday, 14 January, 2026, 15:29 The Indian Embassy in Tehran has called on Indian citizens to leave Iran. The embassy instructed citizens not to take part in protests in Iran and recommended that they depart the country by any available means, including commercial flights. It should be noted that a number of countries, including the USA, Canada, Germany, France, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Taiwan, Singapore, and others, have called on their citizens to leave Iran.
