Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has commented on a Russian strike on a bus carrying miners in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, which resulted in multiple fatalities.
"No military target – just hardworking men returning to their families after their shifts. Truly horrific. Russia once again proves its status of a terrorist state."
Sybiha stressed that those responsible for the attack must face justice. "Russian murderers responsible for this and other atrocities must face justice. Accountability is essential for a just peace."
On Sunday, February 1, Russian forces struck a company bus carrying miners in the Dnipropetrovsk region using a combat drone. The attack killed 16 people, and an equal number were injured.
