Capt. Tim Hawkins, a spokesman for U.S. Central Command, says that he’s “aware of reports” that a strike targeted a girls’ school in southern Iran, and he says that they “take these reports seriously and are looking into them.”
Hawkins says the U.S. military will “continue to take all precautions available to minimize the risk of unintended harm,” but stressed that the U.S. doesn’t target civilians.
