At least six people were killed and 15 others injured on the morning of March 4 when an Israeli airstrike hit a four-story residential building in the Lebanese city of Baalbek.
CNN, citing Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA), reported that rescue teams were working to extract survivors from beneath the rubble. CNN said it was unable to independently verify the reports and had sought comment from the Israeli military.
The strike came amid continued Israeli bombardment across Lebanon on Wednesday morning. Earlier, Lebanon’s Ministry of Health said that at least six people were killed in an airstrike on the town of Aramoun, south of Beirut.
