Trump says US will ensure whoever leads Iran next won't threaten Israel, neighbors

The United States will ensure that whoever leads Iran next will not pose a threat to the US, Israel, or any of its neighbors, President Donald Trump said on Thursday. "The United States will ensure that whoever leads the country next, Iran will not threaten America or its neighbors, Israel, anybody," Trump said from the White House.
President Donald Trump indicated Thursday that he wants to see Iran's leadership structure fully removed and that he has some names in mind for a "good leader."
"We want to go in and clean out everything," Trump told NBC News in a phone call. "We don’t want someone who would rebuild over a 10-year period.
“We want them to have a good leader. We have some people who I think would do a good job,” he added, declining to name anyone.
