Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s National Security Council, took part in a mass rally marking Quds Day, a day of solidarity with Palestinians.
Speaking at the event, Larijani characterised recent Israeli attacks as a sign of the country’s helplessness, IRNA reports.
He also commented on US policy toward Iran, asserting that US President Donald Trump underestimated the resilience and determination of the Iranian people. Larijani suggested that increased pressure from the United States would only strengthen the Iranian public’s resolve. He further noted that Israeli actions targeting the march route reflected the "regime’s desperation."
