The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a warning to civilians in the region to stay away from areas where American forces are deployed.
The announcement, released via the IRGC’s official press channel, stated: “We strongly advise you to immediately leave areas where US troops are present to avoid harm.”
The statement accused American forces of using civilian sites as cover and emphasised that Iran would target US military personnel wherever they are located.
