Iran MFA: 'Phone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and France

Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Jean-Noël Barrot, Foreign Minister of France, held a phone call discussing the latest regional developments and international issues related to the imposed war by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, referring to the threats by the United States to attack Iran's infrastructure, emphasized: This threat amounts to the normalization of war crimes and genocide, and if carried out, it will undoubtedly face a decisive and comprehensive response from the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Araghchi added: The consequences of such a situation will not be limited to Iran and the region but will have destructive effects on global energy and economy, for which the responsibility lies solely with the American authorities and the aggressors.
The French Foreign Minister, while emphasizing the necessity to end the war, considered the threats regarding attacks on infrastructure as increasing tensions in the region and stressed the need to resolve issues through diplomacy.
The Foreign Ministers of Iran and France also exchanged views on consular matters between the two countries.'
